In this episode of Uncommon Sense in Local Business, co-hosts Deanna Blair and Paul Russo talk uncommon scents or aromatherapy. They dig into many ways that using aroma and essential oils can impact your business.
What happens when you smell the great bbq joint up the street cooking, or the bakery next door making freshly baked bread? It immediately makes you feel something. You can use that same idea in your business. Diffuse lemon or orange essential oils throughout the day and when people enter your business they will smell a fresh clean scent and feel more uplifted. If you want to be different, make them remember the smell. If your office smells good, people will remember it and want to come back.
“Getting people into your business is half the battle of making a sale”- Paul Russo
People are wanting to get healthier, and one of the ways many are doing that is by cutting out the chemicals that they use in their daily routines. The chemical products that we use to clean our bodies, clothes, homes, and offices have long term damaging effects that many people are looking for an alternative to. Cutting out things like dryer sheets and air fresheners and replacing them with dryer balls with essential oils and vinegar are very simple ways to make a big difference.
Check out the whole podcast as Paul and Deanna share some personal experiences, tips, and information on using essential oils and other natural alternatives to the harsh chemicals we have become accustomed to using.
